wait question why was garrett driving a car??? he’s in grade nine????
It depends on when he was born and started school. Most people I knew as freshmen were fifteen, and many turned sixteen during freshmen year and were able to drive. Or it could be a case of them being like the twins, pretending to be younger than they are, which really would make a lot more sense than 15 year old assassins tbh. This isn’t Naruto.
I was 13 and turned 14 in December. The oldest kid in my class was 15 because January birthday. To turn 16, you’d have had to fail a grade.
Yeah, I’m sure that Teen Wolf made sure THIS CHARACTER failed a grade and has a birthday from January-whenever lacrosse starts just so he could drive. I mean, it’s probably mid-January, early february at most going by season 1. But yeah, I’m sure they did that very specific set of circumstances.
I mean. On the Teen Wolf calendar, Lydia and Allison’s birthdays are stated as November 22nd and October 16th. Despite happening on screen. And somehow in 6 months, Scott went from 16 to 18.
Yeah. I’m sure they did that. There’s no way it was careless writing.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s almost certainly Jeff and the writers just being dumb with ages and shit again. I was just trying to think of a plausible explanation. But yeah, I don’t think I knew anyone that was 13 when they started highschool? Like, honestly I don’t remember anyone being that young as a freshmen…
I think if you have to go to such specific conditons, the writing is making you REALLY have to reach
Well, I didn’t know anyone who was 16 in 9th grade.
Ages for anyone whose birthday is before September are
Grade one 6-7
Grade two 7-8
Grade three 8-9
Grade four 9-10
Grade five 10-11
Grade six 11-12
Grade seven 12-13
Grade eight 13-14
Grade nine (freshmen year) - 14-15
Grade ten (sophomore) - 15-16
Grade eleven (junior) - 16-17
Grade twelve (senior) - 17-18
If your birthday is after September, you start at the age before, turn the age, and are it for the rest of the year. Like kindergarten is 4-5 instead, etc.
And if you’re a 16 year old freshman/ninth grader, you don’t graduate until you’re 19 which most kids graduate at 17 or 18 here.
Where I live, you have to be 5 by January 31st to go to kindergarten. Like… if you turn 5 in December 2014, you start start kindergarten in fall of 2014. Which is why I was 4 in kindergarten, but most kids are five when they start and at some point turn 5. That’s how it works for most people here unless you aren’t mature enough for first grade and they hold you back a year.
Maybe you just knew immature people :P
I was literally the oldest person in my grade & I was 16 as a sophomore (or summer right after freshman year, if you wanna get technical).
It depends, for summer babies, on if you parents want to start you younger or older in 1st grade. My parents decided to wait until I was 6.
They legit need a series bible.
I just assumed he borrowed (or temporarily misappropriated) a friend’s car? because that’s really not even a drop in the bucket if you’re cruising around being one half of a murderous power couple.
